Maternity and Newborn Care includes:

Regularly scheduled prenatal visits
24/7 availability of a Certified Nurse Midwife

Fully equipped labor & delivery suite for birth with all supplies provided
One-on-one support & care from a Registered Nurse/Birth Assistant during your stay

Certified Nurse Midwife as medical provider and birth attendant

Suturing of first and second degree lacerations (if needed)

Routine newborn care after delivery and newborn screening tests
​
Postpartum care and follow-up visits
for 6 weeks

Natural childbirth education birth class for you are your partner

Breastfeeding support and access to our IBCLC lactation consultant

Access to pregnancy, postpartum & breastfeeding support groups
Additional Expenses (not included, but may be covered by insurance):

Ultrasounds (Completed at Midland Women's Clinic and read by a Board Certified OB/GYN)
Non-routine medications, if indicated (Example: Rhogam)
Non-routine lab work (Example: Pre-eclampsia labs, genetic testing)
Doula (highly recommended, approximately $700-950)
Insurance
The Birth Center does not accept insurance for our services. We are happy to provide receipts that you can submit to your insurance or health share for reimbursement. All our services can be purchased using HSA/FSA funds.
Payment Schedule
A deposit is due to secure your due date. This deposit is non-refundable and goes toward your total fee. A second payment is due at 28 weeks and the remaining is due at 36 weeks. This last payment is refundable should you risk out of care before being admitted to The Birth Center for labor. Please contact us for current pricing and fee schedules.
