Abigail's Story

After having a not-so-good provider with my first birth, I knew I wanted something different with a more natural approach. When I learned I was pregnant again I went to Dr. Doke at the Midland Women’s Clinic and he recommended The Birth Center. I’m so glad he did!

They took such great care of me when I was pregnant and I’ll forever be grateful. During my pregnancy I had a few emergencies and they always had time to talk me through things and go over blood work. Courtney even had everyone at the hospital do what was best for me. I was so grateful to see someone taking such great and passionate care of me.

The morning of my labor when we got to The Birth Center, I was at 8cm. An hour or so later, my baby boy was born in the water. They allowed me to listen to my body and midwife Katy encouraged me with every contraction. This was truly the birth of my dreams.
