Ashlyn's Story

Having Beckham at the birth center in August 2025 was incredibly redemptive and healing for me. After my first hospital birth, I faced postpartum anxiety and complications from an epidural. This time, I was determined to have a natural, intervention-free birth. 

The Birth Center team fully supported my vision, and the experience was transformative. My labor was quite the journey, as Beckham was sunny side up, which can sometimes prolong labor and add a bit of challenge. However, the team ensured that I was never scared and kept me well-informed without causing unnecessary worry. 

My husband was also an amazing support system, and the birth assistants guided him on how to help me effectively. They were always there when we needed them but respected our wishes for a more hands-off approach when desired. The Birth Center environment felt just like home—calm, comforting, and personalized. We played music that we love from our road trips, which made everything feel even more special. 

Emotionally, the entire birth center team was wonderful, making the whole experience memorable and deeply cherished. Comparing this to my hospital birth, the difference was night and day. The birth center truly exceeded all my expectations in every way.
